With the Google Reserve Dining integration, your real-time availability is visible on Google Maps and you can receive table reservations from Google directly into Noona HQ — no manual coordination required 🍔.
When a customer finds your restaurant on Google Maps, they'll see a Reserve a table button on your profile. They can book, cancel, or modify their reservation without ever leaving Google. Everything syncs automatically with your Noona HQ calendar.
Before You Begin
This integration is available for restaurants.
Your business must have an active Google Business Profile — Google uses it to match your Noona account to your listing on Maps.
Make sure your opening hours and table/section setup are configured in Noona HQ before enabling the integration, as this information is shared with Google.
How to Enable Google Reserve Dining
In Noona HQ, go to Settings → Apps.
Find Google Reserve Dining and click Open.
Follow the on-screen steps to activate the integration.
Once enabled, Noona automatically sends your availability to Google every night at 03:00. Google will then attempt to match your business with your Google Business Profile listing.
⚠️ Important: The match between your Noona account and your Google Business Profile is handled automatically by Google. If your business doesn't appear on Google Maps with a Reserve a table button after a few days, reach out to our support team so we can investigate via our Google admin portal.
How the Integration Works
Here's what happens once the integration is active:
Nightly availability sync — Every night at 03:00, Noona sends your up-to-date availability (services, tables, and open slots) to Google for the coming days.
Google matching — Google automatically matches your business to your Google Business listing. Once matched, a Reserve a table button appears on your Google Maps profile.
Customer books via Google — When a customer taps Reserve a table, they go through a native Google booking flow. At the end, a reservation is created directly in your Noona HQ calendar.
Modifications and cancellations — Customers can also modify the time, adjust the guest count, or cancel their reservation from the same Google flow. All changes are reflected in Noona HQ in real time.
Customer profiles — Noona automatically creates a customer profile using the information provided by the Google user when booking.
Reservations in Your Calendar
Reservations made through Google Reserve appear in your Noona HQ calendar like any other reservation. You can identify them by the activity log on the reservation, which will show:
Booked on Google Reserve — the reservation was created via Google.
Confirmation sent to the Noona app — the client received their booking confirmation.
Google Reserve Dining changed status from upcoming to cancelled — if the client cancelled through Google.
You'll also receive an in-app notification in Noona HQ whenever a new reservation, modification, or cancellation comes in through Google.
What the Customer Sees
From the customer's side, the experience is fully handled by Google:
They find your restaurant on Google Maps and tap Reserve a table.
They choose a date, time, and party size from your live availability.
3.They confirm their contact details and agree to the cancellation policy.
4.Google sends them a confirmation email with options to call, modify, or cancel the reservation.
The confirmation email and any subsequent notifications are sent by Google and include a reference to your restaurant. The booking is also attributed to Noona as the booking partner.
Things to Keep in Mind
The Reserve a table button on Google only appears after Google has successfully matched your business with your Google Business Profile. This can take a few days after first enabling the integration.
Availability sent to Google is based on your current settings in Noona HQ — opening hours, table configuration, and existing reservations are all taken into account.
If a customer cancels through Google, the reservation in Noona HQ is automatically updated. You do not need to manually cancel it.
Customer profiles created from Google bookings follow the same logic as any other new customer in Noona HQ and can be viewed and managed normally.
