🎨 Create a new experience
1. Go to the Experiences section
In the menu, go to Schedule → Experiences.
Click the blue + New button in the top right corner.
The new experience form has two tabs: Information and Online bookings. Let's start with the first one!
2. Set up the basic information (Information tab)
Time for the fun part!
Experience name: A clear, descriptive name helps both guests and staff quickly identify the experience. "Sunday Jazz Brunch" beats "Event 2" every time. 😉
Description: Click Add, write a description that appears on the Noona Marketplace and click Save.
Color: Choose the experience color, which will then appear in the calendar.
Duration: How long does your experience last? Anywhere from 30 minutes to 12 hours.
Reset time: How much time do you need between bookings to get everything ready again?
Guests per booking: Set the minimum and maximum number of guests for this experience.
Pricing and options: Set the Default price per guest. To offer more price options, click + Add option. The experience price will then appear as a range, for example €40–€80.
Translations 🌍: Click the globe icon next to the experience name or description to add translations in English or any other language. Guests who switch the language in the Noona app will see your experience in their language, so you offer a smooth booking experience to guests who speak other languages, too!
💡 TIP: Take your experiences up a notch with optional pricing tiers and custom add-ons, giving your guests more choice and added value.
🍽️ Example: Let guests choose their menu
Have a special menu for your experience? Offer your guests the options right away, so they can pick their favorite when booking! For example:
Basic menu + wine tasting
VIP menu + wine tasting 🥂
Each option can have its own price, and you can link a prepayment to it, with a different amount for each option. 💳
This way, you know exactly what each guest has chosen before they even arrive, and you can prepare everything in advance. No guessing, just a perfectly planned evening! ✨
When multiple pricing levels are available, the experience displays a price range ("from – to"), so guests get a clear and transparent overview of all options right from the start.
3. Make the experience available for online bookings (Online bookings tab)
Want guests to book your experience online? Switch to the Online bookings tab and here's how to make it happen:
Available for online bookings: Simply switch on the toggle so it turns blue.
Direct booking link: Click Copy link to get a direct online booking link for this experience. Perfect for flyers, ads or social media posts! 🔗
+ Add image: Add an image that makes guests eager to book. A great photo sells the experience before they've even tasted it! 📸
Tables: Choose which tables can be booked for this experience. By default, all tables are selected. Click Tables, switch off the ones you don't want to use and click Confirm.
Prepayment settings
Require payment: Switch on the toggle so it turns blue.
Type: Choose from three options:
Full prepayment: Guests pay the full price of the experience when booking online.
Confirmation fee: Guests provide their card details when booking. If they don't show up, you can charge a no-show fee.
Card information: Guests provide their card details to confirm the booking. If the booking is marked as a no-show, you'll be prompted to charge the card.
Amount: Set the amount per guest.
Minimum pax: Set the minimum number of guests for the prepayment to apply.
💡 TIP: You can require prepayment only from a certain number of guests. For example, if the reservation is for just 1–2 people, no upfront payment is needed, but for groups of 4 or more, the system automatically asks for a prepayment.
This helps you minimize the risk of no-shows from larger groups, which typically carry a higher risk, while keeping booking quick and easy for individuals and couples. Win-win! 🙌
4. Guest communication 💬
Confirmation message: A message that appears on the confirmation screen after a reservation is made. Click Add, write your message and click Save. If your guests receive email confirmations, this message will be included in their email too. 📩
Booking question: A question your guest is asked when making a reservation, such as allergies or a special occasion. Click Add, write your question and click Save. 🎂
💡 TIP: Use the confirmation message to share anything guests should know before their visit, such as where to park, what to bring or when to arrive. With the booking question, you can collect the information you need to prepare in advance.
This way, your guests arrive feeling taken care of, and your team knows exactly what to expect. No surprises, just great service! ✨
5. Save your experience
Click the blue Save button at the bottom. 🎉
And that's it, your experience is ready to welcome its first guests!
