Analytics

Learn how to track your bookings, guests and more with Analytics in Noona HQ.

Written by Dominik

How many bookings did you get last month? Which tables are the most popular? And are your Instagram followers actually booking? 📊 With Analytics, you'll find answers to all of this in just a few clicks. Let's take a look!

📍 Where to find Analytics

In the menu, go to Insights → Analytics. 👆

🎯 Step by step: Choose what you want to see

1) Pick the data
At the top, click the first dropdown and choose what you want to track:

  • Bookings 📅

  • SMS messages 💬

  • New clients 🙋

2) Pick how to measure it
For bookings, use the second dropdown to choose between:

  • Total bookings: how many bookings you had.

  • Total hours: how many hours your bookings took up in total. ⏱️

Right below, you'll see the total number for the selected period, for example "3 - total bookings".

🔍 Step by step: Add a filter

Want to dig a little deeper? Filters let you focus on exactly what you're interested in.

1) Click "+ Add filter"

2) Choose what to filter by
In Filter by, pick one of these options:

  • Staff member: bookings created by a specific team member. 🙋

  • Table: bookings at specific tables. 🪑

  • Status: bookings with a specific status.

  • Experience: bookings for a specific experience, for example a brunch or a tasting menu. ✨

  • Booking origin: where the booking came from, for example booked by staff, via noona.app, with the Noona app, Facebook, Instagram, Tripadvisor or The MICHELIN Guide. 🌐

  • Custom client fields: if you've set up your own client fields, you can filter by them too. They appear in the list with (Customer) after their name. 🏷️

3) Choose the values
In Values, select one or more options, for example Table 1 and Table 2. Use Select all to pick everything at once.

4) Save the filter
Click Save. ✅ The chart and total update right away.

You can combine several filters in one line, for example a specific table and a specific client field, to narrow down your data even further. 🎯

📈 Step by step: Compare your data

Want to see two things side by side? Click + Add comparison to add a second line to your chart. Then set it up the same way as the first one, with its own data and filters.

For example: Compare all your bookings with bookings from Facebook to see how much your social media actually brings in. 📱

📅 Choose the time period

Below the comparison, pick the period you want to look at:

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Quarterly

  • Yearly

  • Custom period: choose your own dates. 🗓️

Next to it, choose how the data is grouped in the chart, for example Per day or Per month. Use the arrows on the right to move between periods.
