📋 Step-by-Step: Create a New Service

1. Go to the Services Section

  • In the Sidebar, click Services.

  • Click the + New button in the top right corner.

2. Set Up the Basic Information

To create a service, you need to provide at least:

  • Service Name

  • Duration (in minutes)

Tip: A clear, descriptive name helps both clients and staff quickly identify the service.

🎨 Optional Customizations

You can enhance the service setup by editing the following:

  • Color — for calendar visibility

  • Service Type — explained below

  • Price — several pricing models available

Language Options

You can customize the service name and description in different languages — ideal for businesses with international clients.

When creating or editing a service, you can add language options right next to the service name. This allows you to enter translations directly in the fields provided for each available language.

Available languages:

  • English

  • Íslenska

  • Čeština

  • Português

  • Français

  • Español

  • Polski

Tip: Even if you only serve one primary market, adding translated service names can make your booking page more welcoming for visitors abroad.

💡 Example: If your main language is English but you also serve Portuguese-speaking clients, you can show “Haircut” as “Corte de cabelo” on the Portuguese version of your booking page.

🔧 Service Types Explained

Noona HQ supports three types of services:

Type

Description

Normal

A standard appointment. No overlapping bookings allowed.

Normal with a Pause

Includes a break in the middle. A second appointment can be booked during that break.

Non-blocking (Flexible)

Lets you manually fit in other appointments. Only you can book these—clients can’t book them online.

💡 Use flexible services for internal tasks or appointments you want full control over.

💰 Service Pricing Options

Choose the pricing method that best suits your business:

Pricing Model

Use Case

Fixed Price

Most common setup. You can still apply discounts at checkout in the POS.

Multiple Prices

Useful if pricing depends on different variations (e.g., hair length).

Price Range

Ideal for services where time or materials vary the cost.

Price per Client Group

You can set different prices for specific client groups, giving you flexibility to reward loyal clients or adjust rates for different segments.

🎯 Use cases:

  • Offer discounted rates to loyal customers.

  • Apply special pricing for corporate clients or students.

  • Create temporary promotional groups with unique pricing.

💰 Example:

  • Standard price: $50

  • VIP clients: $40

  • Students: $35

✅ The correct price will automatically appear at checkout depending on the client’s assigned group.
