How does the terminal connection work?

Teya terminals can be connected with the Noona Point of Sale system. When you select the payment method 'payment card' in Noona HQ, the amount is instantly transferred to the terminal. The invoice will be automatically marked as paid as soon as the terminal transaction is completed. This ensures that invoices match the terminal transactions, the correct terminal is used during checkout, and overall, it adds convenience and saves you time.

Set up the terminal connection

Are you using Noona HQ in a browser or the app? It doesn't matter where you connect the terminal, below are instructions for both.

Are you a contractor?

Before you start connecting the terminal, make sure the following things are in order:

  1. You are logged in to your own Noona HQ account. If you are not sure, you can go to Settings -> General and see the email address that is logged in.

  2. You need to be registered as a contractor in the Sale system. Click here to find out how that is done.

  3. Now everything is ready and you can follow the instructions below.

1. Terminal connected through Noona HQ

  1. Go to the Menu bar which you will find in the upper left corner (if you are in a browser) and in the bottom right corner (if you are in the app).

This is what the symbol looks like:

  2. Next you will scroll down to the bottom under Settings -> Integrations (if you are in a browser) or click on the three dots in the upper right corner -> Settings -> Integrations (if you are in the app).

  3. Now you will press Connect under the Teya symbol.

  4. Then the login to your Teya account should open on your side:

If you are not sure what email address is connected with your Teya account you can always contact us and we will find it for you. Either by contacting us through the chat bubble or by calling 519-4040.

5. Login to your Teya account - if you don't remember the password you can press
Forgot your password:

6. When that is done, you will automatically go back to Noona HQ.

7. Then you will go to the Menu bar which you will find in the left corner (if you are in a
browser) and in the bottom right corner (if you are in the app).
This is what the symbol looks like:
8. Scroll down under Settings (if you are in a browser) or click on the three dots in the

upper right corner (if you are in the app). There you will go to Payment methods

which you will find under Sales.

If your account has a role called Staff member in Noona HQ, you cannot see the Payment method tab. Then, you would first need to ask the owner for permission for these settings.

9. Under the tab Payment method you will press Connect Terminal.

10. You will need to pick the correct terminal from the S/N number that you can find at
the back of the terminal.

Now everything is ready on the Noona HQ side! Finally, you need to finish setting up the payment terminal.

2. Setting up the terminal

  1. Go to the Menu bar in the upper left corner.

  2. Go to Manage features.

  3. Scroll down and check Pay at counter mode.

  4. Now the connection should be all set! If the connection doesn't work right away you might need to hold down the button on the side of the terminal and reset it - click Reboot.

When you check Pay at counter mode, the screen locks and therefore you cannot write directly into it. If you need to do something in the terminal, you can follow the instructions above and uncheck Pay at counter mode.
