The no-show protection is a simple way to reduce the number of no-shows and increase revenue by enabling you to send a fee to your customers who miss their scheduled appointments.
Once you activate the no-show protection in your Noona HQ account, you can start issuing no-show fees.
When this feature is turned on, customers will be required to agree to the no-show protection fees as part of the booking process through Noona. Additionally, they will need to provide their social security number to finalise their appointment, ensuring you have all the necessary information to send out a no-show fee.
If you have a standard SMS reminder, "Note: no-shows may lead to a fee" will be added at the end of the message.

How do I send out the claim and how much is it?
You always decide whether you send out a no-show fee and how high it should be. Start my clicking on the appointment -> choose status -> no-show -> 'click here to charge a no-show fee'.
Once the no-show fee has been sent out, the customer will receive the following SMS notification (unless the "Send SMS notification of claim" is unchecked):
How do I cancel a no-show fee?
If it turns out that there was an understandable reason for the no-show, or if there was a misunderstanding, you can always cancel no-show fees. Click here to read about how to cancel a no-show fee.
How do I see the status of the no-show fees?
You can see the status of the no-show fees you have sent out by going to the menu bar -> no shows. If the claim you are looking for doesn't appear right away, you may need to change the time period you are looking at.

How do no-show fees appear on reports?
Under reports -> no-show fees you can find all the necessary information for the accounting of paid no-show fees.
How much does it cost to have the no-show protection?
There is no fixed price for having the no-show protection, but a 10% commission is taken from each paid no-show fee. That commission will be added to the next invoice from Noona after the claim has been paid.
