Want to make your appointment reminders more informative or personal?

Noona HQ allows you to customise the content of your SMS reminders so that clients get all the details they need ahead of their appointments—while staying on-brand.

Navigate to SMS Settings

To begin:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to SMS

This is where you’ll control your business’s default reminder setup.

Customising the SMS Sender Title

When a client receives a reminder, the sender title appears as the name of the sender (e.g., your business name).

How to Change the Title:

  • Go to Settings → SMS

  • Edit the title field

  • Save your changes

⚠️ Note: The title must be 10 characters or fewer due to SMS limitations.

Try using abbreviations or key brand terms (e.g., “NoonaHQ” or “SpaLuxe”).

Customising the Callback Number

By default, your SMS reminders include:

“For cancellations call: 123-456-789”

You can change the phone number clients are instructed to call by:

  1. Navigating to Settings → SMS

  2. Editing the Callback Number field

  3. Pressing Save

📝 Customising the Reminder Message

You can fully personalise the body text of your SMS reminder — except for the first line, which is system-generated.

Example of the Default First Line:

“Jason, your appointment is at 2pm tomorrow (08.02)”

This line is automatically generated and cannot be edited.

The Rest of the Message: It’s All Yours

You can use this space to:

  • Add entrance or parking instructions

  • Promote a sale or time-limited offer

  • Remind customers to bring something specific

Once you make changes and press Save, you’ll see a preview of the SMS on the right side of the screen so you can review exactly what your customers will receive.

🔄 Reverting to the Default Reminder

Want to go back to the original reminder?

  1. Simply delete the custom message from the text box

  2. Click Save

  3. The system will revert to the default SMS reminder

You can always preview the default message on the right side of the screen.

🤔 Anything Else?

Now you know how to:

  • Change the sender name

  • Update the contact number

  • Customise the message body

  • Revert to default reminders
